We are operated 100% by volunteers and are always looking for new members to support our great cause in a range of roles – not just presenters! Ever since our inception in 1975, Hospital Radio Bedford – Bedford hospital’s very own radio station based in purpose-built studios in the heart of the hospital – has been staffed and run by a team of dedicated, unpaid volunteers. In order to continue growing and developing the station, especially our live and recorded programming, we are always looking for enthusiastic and motivated people of all ages and experience to join the team. And we’re not just looking for presenters. There are plenty of opportunities to work in all aspects of radio production, administration, promotion and fundraising available at HRB too. If you feel that you can offer a few hours a week to help us provide a vibrant local radio service for the patients and staff at Bedford hospital and the wider Bedford community, there’s a role waiting for you at Hospital Radio Bedford.
