2Mehtab Culling. I am a Psychotherapist with a background in teaching (science) and lecturing (counselling courses). Also, a singer-song writer and released my first song “Quirky Love” to raise money for mental health in young people. So, I guess you could say I am a Singing Psychotherapist! I have delivered workshops at a local, regional, and national level on social and emotional needs, on managing emotions, and on environmental and social justice issues. I have organised and run some high-profile events on the above issues, where the guests included local dignitaries, the events receiving media coverage.

I was born in the East End of London growing up not too far from the Tottenham Hotspur Ground. I got interested in playing music at quite a young age and began spinning records (those circular plastic things) at various friends’ house parties. My work background was in the bus industry and training. My bus conductor Alan Honey teamed up with me as a mobile DJ creating the Jeff Allan Discos and we played all over London. At family and corporate events, I also had a spell with Piccadilly Radio which was a Pirate Station which was located in (a no longer there) block of flats in Edmonton. So, to today. I answered an ad on Facebook and started with HRB in 2019 and created a weekly show between 8 and 10am until the Pandemic appeared and then the studio was closed. However, thankfully we worked out we could continue providing Bedfordshire with music etc from home. I finally returned to the studio this year and have a different theme every weekday.  My role within HRB presently is the membership officer and enjoy meeting new would-be presenters and seeing them progress to perform on their own shows. Apart from the radio my other passions are being with my family and traveling.
