My name is Karlos

Affectionately known as king Karlos on the airwaves

I present my radio show every Wednesday morning 10amto12pm. Featuring music from heartbeat which ran from 1992 to 2010

I co-host with other presenters and at times step in for other shows.

I present my show based on music that featured in the TV programme heartbeat.

I have completed interviews with local charities and local  authors speaking about their work around supporting their children and living with Autism

I have had guests on my show speaking about their lived experience on neurodiversity.

I have completed interviews with stars from heartbeat, including Tricia Penrose who played barmaid Gina ward/Bellamy.  I play music from her new album ‘Songs from my heart’ which can be purchased at www.tricia.penrose.co.uk

Lee jones, who organises the heartbeat car Rally that takes place in Goathland where Heartbeat was made  which is a huge event for classic car lovers of everything heartbeat related.

Sarah Walker whose Dad Peter N Walker who wrote the Constable books under the Pen name of Nicholas Rhea, that Heartbeat is based on.

I really enjoy presenting my show as it gives me an opportunity to connect with the local community and beyond.
