My Show Illumination Dance Show It’s all about dance music for dancers by dancers. DanceXcess and Illumination Dance have been leaders in innovation with new ideas and concepts, Over the last 21 years, since DanceXcess was formed in 2003. Illumination dance followed on 1st Feb 2014 but was formally known as Expressions from September 2010 DanceXcess and Illumination Dance run in parallel covering Modern Jive, Expressive, Modern Blues, Argentine Tango, classical, and even lyrical music. We aim to give our dancers a range of music, of a variety of genres and tempos, which teases out that more expressive dancer that is deep inside all of us. You might want to fuse your modern jive with other styles, such as WCS, Tango and Blues, letting you vary your mood throughout the afternoon. You may be looking for music that is a little more chilled, or perhaps more lyrical or expressive, giving you the backdrop to dance more ‘musically’ to what you hear.
